Bar Vlaha is a gathering place for the Brookline neighborhood. With the success of our other Greek concepts, Bar Vlaha aims to bring a more traditional and authentic approach to the Greek dining scene. A casual-chic dining room, full bar with Greek spirits, wines and cocktails and an open kitchen set the mood of our traditional Greek home. 

Bar VLAHA is focused on the traditional Greek village girl or girl from the country. Foods will reflect homemade cooking. Fresh pies, spreads, baked breads with a heavy concentration on grilling or spit- roasted meats as well as a technique or braising done by the nomadic Greeks called ‘gastra.’ Everything will be sourced locally, as they do in Greece.

The vibe we are going for is retro chic. Inspiration comes from Greek diners and Greek villages. The coming to America from a Greek family to the USA and from nomadic Greeks who have moved around, planting their roots wherever they land, bringing with them their food and traditions.
